N-Sale Favorites

Happy Friday!! I know you all have probably been hearing non-stop about the incredible Nordstrom Anniversary Sale going on right now, and I would be lying if I said I haven't been browsing the sale like crazy the past couple weeks. I rounded up some of my favorite sale items, so make sure you don't miss out on these! This is such a great chance to go ahead and stock up on your fall/winter wardrobe, because they are prices that you simply cannot beat for the quality of items that you will get. I particularly have my eyes on the cowl neck sweater - it just looks so soft and fluffy and makes me dream of cooler weather!

When I say that I've finally found the perfect t-shirt dress, I am not kidding whatsoever. I searched for a really long time to try to find it online, but I cannot find it on Target.com anywhere! So, do yourself a favor and rush to your nearest Target to get this dress. Completely worth the $19! Also, I generally wear a small, but I got an XS in this dress because it just fit very wide.

Remember this necklace from Lavish Boutique?! I just can't stop wearing it! These necklaces are so popular right now, and I just want another one in a different color! It's so versatile, and completely worth getting!

UU Hair Extensions

  

If you are anything like me, then you have often wished that you just had a little more hair. I often find myself curling or straightening my hair, and when I finish, I just wish I had more hair to fill out the volume that I'm trying to get! While I don't have thin hair, I have very fine hair, which might as well be the same thing when it comes to trying to get volume to happen!

L'Oreal Paris Ultimate Straight Collection

Remember a couple weeks ago when I posted on Instagram about my experience with the L'Oreal Paris Ultimate Straight Collection? Yea - I'm still using those hair products every single time I wash my hair. I can't get enough of them! This crazy Arkansas humidity won't let me hair stay curled, and usually it won't let my hair stay straight. Most of the time it's a wavy mess, to be perfectly honest. However, these products have been total game changers! I've been able to keep my hair tamed thanks to the L'Oreal Paris Ultimate Straight Collection - maybe I need to check and see what sort of collection they have for curling hair and start using that for my curls!

Pre-Conditioner

To style my hair as I did in the picture above, I started out using the shampoo as normal. Then, I used the pre-conditioner and let it stay in my hair for about a minute. Before rinsing, I added the conditioner and left in my hair for another 3-4 minutes (yes I love soaking in the shower, so this is the perfect excuse). After towel drying my hair, I applied the Straight Perfecting Balm, and then I blow-dried my hair as usual. Then, I applied a heat protecting spray and straightened my hair like normal.

Happy Friday! I really wanted to take today to catch up on some of my Instagram posts lately. I just got these tassel bracelets in the mail, and I cannot wait to wear them! I've also been working on making an art wall above my desk, and I love the prints that I ordered from Ban.do and Michelle Dwight. I'm also loving my new planner from Ban.do (I've never been a planner person, but grad school quickly changed that). I also linked my favorite nail polish color lately!

I hope everyone is gearing up for a wonderful holiday weekend full of fun (and safe) activities. If you're not headed to the lake or beach this weekend, another great alternate is shopping! Summer Jumpsuits

As much as I love rompers, it took awhile for the jumpsuit trend to grow on me. Rompers are great because it's like a dress that you don't have to worry about coming up on you, but jumpsuits have just always been a little different. I've always been a maxi dress girl instead of the jumpsuit, but the jumpsuits are really growing on me! The Halogen and Nordstrom jumpsuits are my absolute favorites from the round-up - I especially love how sophisticated the Nordstrom jumpsuit is. I feel like I could throw a blazer over it and have a great professional look going, and then take the blazer off and be ready for a fun dinner date! Which one is your favorite?
