I hope everyone is having a great Monday so far! I'm getting a little bit sad because this is my last week as a resident of Fayetteville. I attended my very last Sunday morning church service at my church yesterday, and Thursday is my very last day of work at the U of A rec center (hper). I am so excited to be headed to Conway soon, but leaving is still hard!

Next week I am excited to say that I am going to be serving as a cell group leader (counselor) at a church camp. I am so excited to play with these kids and teach them about Jesus! Also, as much as I like to be girly, I also LOVE to be outdoors and run around and play games, and this is the perfect excuse to do just that! Have a great week everyone!

Summer Fun

I apologize for the lack of a post yesterday, my weekend was crazy! C came to visit me on Friday, and on Saturday we took a road trip to Branson to go to the Dixie Stampede with his parents and grandparents. As we were walking into the arena to begin the dinner show, C turned to me and said, "wouldn't it be fun if we got put in the show?" Funny that he said that, because sure enough, our waiter asked us if we would like to be in the show, so we did! We got to participate in a game, and it was so much fun! Our luck didn't stop there, because later we were given free tokens to play a game and free passes to ride on the zip line at the Branson Landing. I've never been a lucky one, so I'm giving C all the credit for that!

On Sunday, C helped me move most of my large furniture to my new place in Conway (yay!), so my room in Fayetteville is starting to look a bit sparse! With just a bed and a few boxes left, I'm almost done with the move!

This shirt is one that I have had for a couple years, but it still is one of my favorites. The lace detail just adds a great girly vibe to the outfit, and the shirt is just so comfortable. I like my clothes to be stylish, but if they aren't comfortable, then I'll never wear them! This shirt fits both requirements perfectly.

I hope everyone had a great Monday! I just wanted to leave you with a bit of encouragement for the rest of the week: 1 Corinthians 10:31 - "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."

I officially have a new favorite wedge. These wedges from Bearpaw are incredibly comfortable, and they look great, too! I walked all around the Mizzou campus in these when I was visiting C last weekend, and normally I'm a flats kind of girl! I am really looking forward to wearing these more!

Color has already been a huge part of my wardrobe, but lately I have really been trying to embrace the idea of wearing two bright colors together. The Mint Dress

Spring in Fayetteville is one of my favorite things. Dickson Street and the Square are just covered in blooming tulips, and it's so incredibly beautiful. This mint dress was my Easter dress, and I just love how simple yet spring-like it looks. After church, C and I went down to Dickson Street to have lunch out on the patio of a restaurant and enjoy the beautiful weather. 

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of my wonderful readers for their prayers for the victims of the tornado that hit Central Arkansas on Sunday. Several people that I know lost completely everything, but they are optimistic and resting in the knowledge that God has His hand on the situation.

Yesterday was another rainy day in Fayetteville. One of my biggest challenges is dressing for rain when I'm wearing a dress, so I came up with a way to pair my Hunter wellies with a dress! A little color matching with the dress, and it pulls right together into a cute outfit. What is your favorite way to combat the rain in a dress?

I have a small request for all my lovely readers. A big tornado tore through my home state yesterday, just 5 miles south of where I will be moving to in July. Pure destruction took place, so if you could take a minute and say a quick prayer for those affected, I would really appreciate it!

This past Saturday I turned the big 22!! You better believe I was singing Taylor Swift ALL DAY!! (much to C's dismay!). I had a wonderful day filled with so much happiness! I got to start my day working out to Insanity with friends (to combat all the wonderful foods I ate all day!). I came home to have C making me a giant birthday breakfast! My parents and younger sister drove to see me and take me to lunch, and my friends went out for dinner with me to top off the night! Here are a few pictures from the weekend!

Happy Hump Day! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Yesterday was a beautiful day in Fayetteville, and I took advantage of it and got outside for a bit!

On Monday I officially submitted my thesis to my committee, and yesterday I sent off my poster to be printed! Tomorrow afternoon I will be presenting my poster, followed by a ceremony afterward to honor all of us honors students who completed a thesis in my college. Next Monday I will be presenting my thesis to my committee, and then I only have to make a few changes after that before submitting it to the Honors College. I'm so excited that I'm almost done!
