Spring Wish List

It may still be January, but I simply cannot wait for Spring to get here!! Spring is one of my favorite times of the year, because it means that school is close to getting out, everything is blooming, my birthday finally gets here....and I could go on! I have already started compiling a list of items that I am absolutely loving for Spring, especially the romper and jumpsuit from Old Navy! I am also looking to add some more distressed denim to my wardrobe, along with some more florals and pops of color! What is on your Spring wish list?

Uniform

I can't believe I have taken an entire week off from blogging! This past week has been crazy busy! Last weekend I was in my best friend's wedding, and it was wonderful! I had a great time just spending time with old friends and celebrating the new marriage! As soon as the wedding was over though, it was right back to work! I have a huge test tomorrow and another huge test on Monday (Gross Anatomy and Physiology for those of you keeping up!), which is keeping me really busy this week! It's almost over though. This might be the most excited I have ever been for Christmas break! (I'm seriously about to break out the Christmas music).

This outfit is one that I have been living in lately. When you're really busy and just don't have time to thoughtfully put together an outfit, it's great to grab a button down shirt and vest, some booties, and my favorite pair of jeans. It's comfortable, functional, and still keeps me looking fabulous. What is your go-to look?

Layer Up

Old Navy has been totally spot on with their sales this week both online and in-store. They have some great deals on outerwear pieces for the colder months that are quickly approaching, and I wanted to show you some of my favorites! The two vests shown are two of my favorite vests ever. I even went and tried them on in-store because I loved them so much online, but they weren't on sale in store like they were online, so I passed them up for now. Their version of the cowl neck sweater is also one of my favorite pieces for the cold. I love how it's so loose-fitted to where you can wear another shirt underneath to add a little bit of pattern play to the outfit. I am also loving the jackets that Old Navy has right now, too. Their trench coats are timeless and gorgeous, but this camo jacket is such a fun print!

Well, my fall break is in full swing and I am in Fayetteville visiting for a couple days. I have been having a wonderful time with all of my wonderful friends here, and I wish I could just stay!! However, I am excited to be spending the day today with my mom, followed by a Kari Jobe concert tonight, and a Razorback football game tomorrow! Talk about a busy fall break, but I love it!

So obviously Old Navy is killing it with my picks this month! They are having a HUGE sale going on right now, and each of the items I've picked are on sale! (yay!) There are a ton of sales going on this week for the 4th of July, so if you're looking for the perfect time to go shopping and save money on your favorite items, this is the week to do it! 

I want to apologize yet again for being MIA lately with my commenting. Life has gotten super busy with my move in full swing now! July may be a hit and miss month with posts, but I'm still going to try to post 3-4 times per week! I hope everyone had a great Monday, and has a great week!

I Believe

In case you missed it, the USA soccer team beat Ghana 2-1 last night in the World Cup. This is HUGE for us after all the doubt that the USA team would be able to win any game at all. Now that the team has us Americans totally pulling for them, the next game should have quite a few watch parties going, meaning you want to show up looking fabulous!

The dress is from Old Navy and currently on sale, and on top of that sale, they also have an extra 30% off going on right now. Talk about a steal! Also, I just got the red moccasins from Bearpaw yesterday, and after wearing them around for a bit, I can honestly say they are one of the most comfortable shoes that I own now! I definitely recommend them!

Happy Hump Day! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Yesterday was a beautiful day in Fayetteville, and I took advantage of it and got outside for a bit!

On Monday I officially submitted my thesis to my committee, and yesterday I sent off my poster to be printed! Tomorrow afternoon I will be presenting my poster, followed by a ceremony afterward to honor all of us honors students who completed a thesis in my college. Next Monday I will be presenting my thesis to my committee, and then I only have to make a few changes after that before submitting it to the Honors College. I'm so excited that I'm almost done!
