Gifts for Your Girls

Not only do I love to look for the perfect gift for Chris for Valentine's Day, but I also love to show the ladies in my life how much I love them as well! I feel like it is very important to let everyone know how much you love them, whether friend/boyfriend/husband/family! Because of this, I like to put together little gift bags every year to let them know how much I care. Here are some of my picks for great items to give to the women in your life that you love! 

I know that I have had so many posts about Valentine's Day, which might make me seem just a little bit over the top about it, but I love this holiday so much because I love having a day to simply celebrate love! I'm not all about the mushy part of it, but I do love to let the people that I love know it, and this is such a great opportunity to make extra sure that they know how much I care, because my life just wouldn't be as good without them!

I love to find innovative ways to wear my blanket scarves, and this might very well be one of my favorites!! I can't wait to wear my other ones in this very same way! I wore this downtown last Saturday when Chris and I were exploring some of the shops, and it was perfect for a day strolling around (and getting a little studying done). V-Day Dresses Under $50

I absolutely love getting all dolled up for dates, and Valentine's Day is no exception (actually I get extra glammed up because we usually go somewhere fancier than usual!). I've never gone with a traditional red or pink dress because I usually resort to the LBD, but this year I'm considering being a little more festive and picking up a red or pink dress to wear. What do you think? Do you wear traditional Valentine's Day colors? I'm loving all of these dresses, especially the pink one in the middle. Which one is your favorite?

Spring Wish List

It may still be January, but I simply cannot wait for Spring to get here!! Spring is one of my favorite times of the year, because it means that school is close to getting out, everything is blooming, my birthday finally gets here....and I could go on! I have already started compiling a list of items that I am absolutely loving for Spring, especially the romper and jumpsuit from Old Navy! I am also looking to add some more distressed denim to my wardrobe, along with some more florals and pops of color! What is on your Spring wish list?

I don't know about you, but I love a good flare dress. They are so fun, and they make me want to twirl around like I used to do when I was a little girl! This fun dress that I received from Le Tote is absolutely perfect for a fun weekend date night! It's about to get a little bit colder here this weekend, so with the simple addition of a scarf and some leggings, I'll be ready to rock this dress in the cold as well!

Sometimes I love to try out looks that are just a little out of the norm for me. With my normal classic, girly looks, this leather top is definitely a change of pace for me, but I absolutely loved wearing it! Last week I paired it up with my new beanie, but since it finally got warm I no longer needed it! Also, these booties have been on repeat for me lately!

Wintry Capes

There is nothing that I love more on a cold wintry day than a cape to keep me warm, and this cape from OASAP really did the trick this week! (It's selling out quickly, so make sure you grab it before it's gone!) It's been brutally cold lately (as I've said many times this week!), and I'm doing all I can to stay warm! Along with this amazing cape from OASAP, I also wore my new boots from BEARPAW to help stay warm!
