Aztec

Dress: A Little Peace of Joy // Necklace: A Little Peace of Joy // Sandals: BEARPAW c/o
// Watch: Michael Kors // Bracelet: The Shopping Bag c/o // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

I've had my eye on this dress for awhile, so when I finally got it, I couldn't wait to wear it. I went to visit Chris last Thursday, and of course I had to wear my new dress, even though we had nothing planned to call for the occasion! We ended up getting a good dinner though thanks to being dressed up - always worth it!

On a random note, one of the hardest things I have faced lately with being in school is having outfit photos! I have to wear lab attire (athletic shorts with spandex under them, sports bra and tank top) almost every single day for school, which makes dressing very cute a real challenge! The comfort level is absolutely stellar, but you know it's getting tough when you have to start making up reasons to get dressed up - like visits to Chris where we have nothing planned!

Open Shoulder

Top: Dress Link c/o // Pants: Old Navy // Sandals: A Little Peace of Joy
// Necklace: The Sparkle Exchange // Watch: Michael Kors

How fun is this top from Dress Link? I have been loving the open shoulder trend lately, and when I received this top in the mail, I was so excited! This trend is so fun and girly, and the comfort in this shirt was incredible. While this item is shown as a dress in the link, it was a little too short to be a dress on me, but it is an incredible tunic to wear with my white skinnies!

Happy Friday! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Don't forget to follow along on Bloglovin and Instagram!

Trend Alert: Off the Shoulder

The off the shoulder trend is one that is really big this summer, and I have to be honest - I cannot get enough of it! This trend hit a little bit big a couple years ago, but it's in full swing this summer! I've been on the hunt everywhere for the perfect off the shoulder tops at affordable prices, and I'm happy to say that almost every single one that I am sharing is $25 or less (just a couple exceptions for those looking for really great quality!). If you are just looking to follow the trend this summer, I would highly recommend checking out some of the options from Forever 21 and H&M. They have great options at great prices - and hey, even Topshop has some great options for just $25!

Lavish Love

Dress: Lavish Boutique c/o // Necklace: Lavish Boutique c/o // Sunnies: Lavish Boutique c/o

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend, I definitely enjoyed mine! My little sister came to visit me for a day, and I got a to have a fun date night with Chris on Saturday! It definitely was the refresher that I needed to start this week off right.

Speaking of starting this week off right, how gorgeous is this black and white striped dress that I started my week off in? I got this dress in the mail last week, and I could not wait to wear it! Paired up with the fun accessories that I received with it, this outfit is easily one of the most fun I've worn in awhile, making it a favorite of course! You can find the dress, necklace, and sunnies at Lavish Boutique in Russellville, AR if you live nearby, or you can call them at 479-280-1955 to purchase these items! I highly recommend following them on Instagram as well (@lavishyou), because you can see all of their great new arrivals there, and even better, all of their items are under $40 (big cheers from this college student!).

Get That Aisle Style

Wedding season is in full swing now, and I love seeing all of the bridesmaids dresses at each wedding that I attend. Some of the brides choose to place every girl in the same dress, while others let the bridesmaids choose which dress they like the best. I have to admit, I am a really big fan of letting the bridesmaid choose which dress she would like to wear, as long as it is the correct color of course.

Let's think about this for a second. Your bridesmaid will continue to own the dress after the wedding, and could potentially wear it again (maybe) if she chooses to, so why not let her decide which dress she thinks looks the best on her and fits her style the most, and let her wear it and keep it? When she is comfortable, it is so much easier for her to make the bride comfortable, and we all know that the bride should be catered to on her big day!!

On the other hand, I'm also a big fan of very traditional weddings, and most traditional weddings place each bridesmaid in the exact same dress. This also makes picture look great, and identifying the bridesmaids is a much easier task. So basically, I guess I could go either way, and whichever option you like the best, Aisle Style has the dresses for you!

Aisle Style is a dress company that has been around for twenty years, and it makes timeless quality dresses for the bride and bridesmaids. Whether you are looking for top of the line satin, chiffon, or whatever your favorite material is, Aisle Style has great options for your bridesmaid dresses. I've linked a few of my favorites:

Chiffon Sleeveless A-line Natural One Shoulder Bridesmaid Dresses

Floor-length Natural A-line Jewel Sleeveless Bridesmaid Dresses

Natural A-line Jewel Chiffon Zipper Bridesmaid Dresses

One really great feature is the way that you can search for dresses. Aisle Style gives you the option to narrow your search by selecting exactly what cut, design, color, etc. that you want for your dresses. This cuts down on so much time scrolling through all the options, and it lets your bridesmaids quickly take a look at any dress and help the bride decide what the best option is. This is such a great time-saving feature, and any bride knows that saving time is a really big deal when you are wedding planning!

It's Wedding Season

As a young twenty-something woman, it's safe to say that my Facebook and Instagram are filled with new engagements almost every single day. The engagement is only the beginning, though. Once you get engaged, there are so many decisions to make! Who should cater? Should I have a D.J.? What should my colors be? What kind of dress will I wear? What kind of dress will my bridesmaids wear?

I am so excited to have the opportunity to help out with that last question. There is a dress website based out of the UK called Milly Bridal, and it is definitely a website that you are going to want to remember. Do you have a friend or sister getting married? Make sure you tell them about Milly Bridal. Are you getting married? Make absolutely sure that you visit Milly Bridal!

Bridesmaids Dresses UK from Milly Bridal have some beautiful options that are perfect for any wedding and any bridesmaid. No two bridesmaids are shaped exactly the same, and this is where Milly Bridal can help. They offer sweetheart necklines, v-neck dresses, halter dresses, short dresses, long dresses - whatever you're looking for, Milly Bridal most likely has the option available.

Milly Bridal also has beautiful color options that are sure to fit your needs. It was really hard for me to pick just one favorite dress, but I found one particular plum colored dress that I just couldn't get enough of.

A-line Sweetheart Chiffon Ankle-length Ruffles Bridesmaid Dresses #01012060

How gorgeous is this dress? It's elegance is absolutely stunning, and this deep purple will be beautiful on your bridesmaids, plus there's the added bonus that the bride's white dress is sure to majorly stand out - which is exactly what you want!

So why is Milly Bridal such a great website to buy from? There are several reasons! First, you save 50%-80% more than you would at a high street dress shop, and this is because they take out the middleman and allow you to be linked directly to designers and manufacturers. They also use dress makers who have worked with high street big names, bringing you a great quality in your dresses! One of the best options that they offer is the ability to alter dresses or build in extra materials that you may want included. This is such a great option for those than want to personalize their bridesmaids dresses or avoid the need to alter the dress after receiving it. Finally, they use very high quality satin and materials, bringing you beautifully crafted dresses at such an affordable price. This should be music to any bride's ears!

Thank you so much for reading! If you have any further questions for Milly Bridal, make sure you visit their website and contact them directly! Don't forget to follow my blog on Bloglovin and Instagram! Have a wonderful Friday!

Father's Day Gifts

Father's day is right around the corner, and it's time to find that perfect gift for your dad! Sometimes men can be a struggle to shop for (because let's be real, you can't just buy a cute shirt for them and they'll be impressed like your mom would be). I find that I rarely go wrong getting something with my dad's favorite sports team on it, and new ties are always a hit because he wears a tie every single day. I also added the fitbit because activity trackers are becoming incredibly popular. As a strong endorser of staying healthy and fit, I think a fitbit is always a great gift. What are some of your favorite gifts for your dad?

Thanks you so much for reading! I apologize for the late post today - tests are hitting me hard this week already at school! Have a great day, and don't forget to follow along on Bloglovin and Instagram!

Pineapple

Happy Monday! I apologize for the week away from blogging. Last week was my first week back to school for the summer which kept me pretty busy. On top of that, I managed to damage a few ligaments in my ankle while exercising, so basically I haven't done much except go to school for the last week (oh, and a baseball game! - WPS!).

I wore this romper as a cover up while I was at the beach. The pattern was just way too perfect to not be worn while beaching. The exact romper is not still available (it's an old one), but I have linked several pieces with pineapple designs that are all pretty affordable (see below). I definitely recommend getting a fun print like this - it just makes outfits so much happier!

I hope you are having a great start to the week! Don't forget to follow along on Bloglovin and Instagram
