A Monogrammed Christmas with Marley Lilly

Everybody knows that every new bride needs to have her new initials on pretty much everything she owns (but really, I'm obsessed right now with stocking up on items with my new monogram). Marley Lilly has everything you need in the realm of monograms. This sweatshirt is part of my collection of items with my new monogram, and I can't wait to get married in less than 6 months and wear it on repeat. Of course I had to put it on for some pictures though, because this sweatshirt is something that just had to be shared! At less than $40, it's such a great Christmas gift for your newly married or bride-to-be friends!

Along with the sweatshirt, I also had to feature this bracelet. It comes in so many fun colors that you can match it to wedding colors very easily. It would be a great bridesmaid gift, or a fun bracelet to wear with any and every outfit! I love my pink one so much, and again, I can't wait to wear it on the honeymoon!

Do you have a teen, bride-to-be, or just someone in your life that loves monograms? I highly suggest purchasing your monogrammed items from Marley Lilly this Christmas! A few other of my favorite items include the Monogrammed Tan Woven Herringbone Vest, the Monogrammed Taylor Necklace, the Monogrammed Downtown Tassel Purse, and the Monogrammed Scalloped Tote Purse. All of these items are so affordable and sure to make every monogram fanatic happy!

Thank you so much for reading! Have a wonderful weekend!

Wedding Ready with Bridal Boost

Today I want to introduce you to a new product that I have begun to use, Bridal Boost. Bridal boost is designed with the busy brides in mind, as it helps to boost your energy, reduce your stress, give you healthier hair, skin, and nails, and it even gives you immune support.

My favorite thing about Bridal Boost is that there is absolutely no hidden chemicals that you don't want to have. Think of it as a multivitamin designed with the busy bride in mind. Below you can see a list of what is in Bridal Boost.

Even better, Bridal Boost is completely free of soy, gluten, nuts, dairy ,eggs. dyes, preservatives, and more. This was a great selling point for me, because I try very hard to keep my gluten and dairy intake to a minimum.

Since beginning to take Bridal Boost a couple weeks ago, I am already seeing a difference in my nails. I've had issues with them ripping or becoming brittle, but since taking Bridal Boost, I can tell how much more healthy my nails are becoming, and I'm sure the longer I take it, the better my nails will be as they continue to grow out.

Do you have any questions about Bridal Boost? Be sure to visit their website where you can find all of their information, and of course, consult with your doctor before you begin taking this supplement.

Fall Fashion Last Hoorah

One of the best and worst things about the passing of Thanksgiving is the inevitable end of fall fashion and the beginnig of winter fashion. Today I want to give a last hoorah and salute to fall fashion because it is my absolute favorite time of the year for style, but as December is fast approaching (like, tomorrow), it's time to put away the fall hues and break out the Christmas outfits.

On the bright side, many of the pieces from this fall outfit are perfect for winter fashion. The blue blouse can be paired with some black jeans and a fur vest for a fun and festive winter look, and the riding boots would look perfect with a gorgeous red and green scarf. How will you be transitioning your fall wardrobe into winter style?

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I spent mine with my family at my sister's house in Tulsa, and we had such a wonderful time!

God Bless!

Black Friday Shopping: To Shop or Not to Shop?

Tis the season for family, food, and lots and lots of shopping! There are so many great deals this year (an ipad for $199 anyone?!), and it's so hard to pass them up! One of my favorite memories as a child was waking up on Thanksgiving morning and watching the parade while reading the ads and making  a plan for Friday morning shopping. Of course times have changed a little bit now (now I prefer to stay up late Wednesday night and shop online in my pj's when the deals begin at midnight). I definitely have my eye on the ipad, and of course the thousands of cheap movies that are always available (it's one of the only times I ever buy movies!).

So here's the biggest question: to shop or not to shop these black friday deals? I have no problem shopping online on Thanksgiving, but shopping in store is another story. I can't decide if I support it or not as I wish every single worker could spend all of Thanksgiving with their families. What do you think? Do you support shopping in-store? Or do you prefer to simply shop online?

Thanksgiving Attire

Last week I shared about my top 3 tips for choosing your Thanksgiving outfit (you can find that post here) , and today I wanted to share one of my favorite options for Thanksgiving attire. First, I want to start by talking about these gorgeous boots. They are such a dupe for the Stuart Weitzman version of these boots, and only $49.99! They would be a great holiday gift for those girls that love fashion, and this brand truly does last. I actually got these boots last season and was very pleasantly surprised to see that the Rampage brand made more of these. I highly recommend them!

I also haven't had a chance to talk about this great Tory Burch purse that I came across at a local consignment store in Conway. I love visiting the three consignment stores here on the weekends to see if they get any new designer items, and when this Tory Burch bag showed up brand new at one of them a few weeks ago, I couldn't resist. I have been carrying it everyday since!

Thanksgiving Fashion: Top 3 Tips

When you think of Thanksgiving, you think of food, food, and oh um, more food? With all that food around, finding the perfect outfit for your Thanksgiving get-together can be a challenge for every fashionista. Here are my top 3 tips for staying in style and in comfort for your Thanksgiving get-together.

#1: You Can Never Go Wrong with a Maxi

This maxi dress from I Do Declare Boutique just screams fall! It's the perfect mix of fashion and comfort, and any spills will blend right in with the colors. Pair it with some booties, and you will have the perfect outfit for both the get-together and the nighttime Black Friday shopping!

#2: Did Someone Say Stretchy-Pants?

You knew this one was coming, but how could you not love these leggings from White Plum? With the extra room to move in the waistband, these are the perfect pants for those that are planning to go back for seconds or thirds....or maybe even fourths?

#3: When Getting Chunky, Wear Chunky

Yes, you heard that right. If you're afraid you will be feeling a bit chunky at the end of the day, don't be afraid to wear chunky sweaters! This turtleneck sweater from Hipsway is the perfect solution to your problem! It's oversized and super flattering, hiding everything you want hidden. If you're a little more cold-natured, just throw on a long-sleeve knit underneath and you're ready to face the cold!

One final thought to leave you with --> never ever skip dessert on Thanksgiving for the sake of fashion ;)

God Bless!

Holiday Outerwear Guide

Holiday Outerwear Guide

With the holidays right around the corner, so many fun holiday activities will be taking place outdoors, including holiday light tours and Thanksgiving/Christmas parades. I love to look festive for these events. and I wanted to share some of my favorite holiday outerwear outfits that I can't wait to wear this season.

Look #1: This look is easy for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. This coat is one of my favorites currently, and I linked the exact pair of OTK boots that I own (Rampage brand).

Look #2: This one may be my favorite as it again has my favorite style of coat, but I love the pops of red and gold for the holidays, especially the shoes!

Look #3: It's inevitable that the weather may not always cooperate, so it's important to have a back-up for when the rain and snow start falling. I love my red hunter boots and wear them year-round, but they come in particular handy during the holidays when I'm wanting to look festive.

Have any suggestions of anything you would like to see? Feel free to leave a comment or send me an email. Thank you so much for reading!

Engagement Photos

Today I wanted to take a little bit of time to share some of my favorite engagement photos! A couple weeks ago, Chris and I traveled to Northwest Arkansas to have these photos taken by David Skinner Photography, and I am so glad that we did! David is one of our friends, and he really takes some of the best pictures. He took our proposal pictures, and he will also be taking my bridal photos along with doing all of our wedding photography. I highly recommend him if you are in the Northwest Arkansas area!

All of our photos were taken at Tanyard Creek in Bella Vista, AR. It's such a beautiful trail with a gorgeous creek and some of the most beautiful little bridges.

I also couldn't be more thankful for Lavish, a women's boutique just one town over from my hometown. The ladies were so wonderful in helping me find the perfect outfits for my photos, and their prices just couldn't be beat for such a gorgeous boutique! I love my red dress and sweater with the gorgeous detail on the back, and I just love how it turned out in these photos. If you are ever in the area of Russellville, AR, be sure you stop into Lavish - you won't regret making the stop!

There was also plenty of laughter during the session. I think at least half of the photos have me with my mouth open because I just couldn't be serious! This guy just makes me smile and laugh all the time, so the photos were so fitting of our relationship!

(P.S. - how great are these Kendra Scott earrings!?)

A couple final photos, because David is just so incredible with lighting with his photography!

One final shoutout to Lindsey Snyder at Studio M in Conway, AR for showing me how to keep my hair looking its best with such little effort! If you are ever in need of any salon services, I highly recommend calling Studio M in Conway and requesting Lindsey Snyder!

Thank you so much for reading my blog! Have a wonderful week!

Fall Colors

Fall finally came to Central Arkansas this weekend, and I didn't waste a moment in pulling out my fall colored clothing! I found this shirt and vest last week during a shopping trip to Ross (one of my favorite affordable stores!), and I have linked several items that are similar and also extremely affordable (I had trouble finding these exact pieces online).

On Saturday, Chris and I decided to check out the Food Truck Festival in downtown Little Rock, and goodness it was busy! We tried some good food, and also spent some time getting some food for one of the homeless men hanging out in the area. Chris spent over 30 minutes talking to him about his life and about Jesus, and I'm pretty sure that was my happiest moment of the entire weekend. I'm always telling people that they can live on mission wherever they are, and that moment on Saturday was a prime example of that. We all think different things when we pass by these people on the street, but people are people and everyone has a story and needs love, and showing them the love of Jesus Christ is one of the best gestures you can ever show someone. It makes me extremely happy to be marrying a man who takes the time to hear a man's story and share the love of Christ with others, no matter who they are.

I hope your week has started off good! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog! Don't forget to follow along on Bloglovin and Instagram!

Waiting for Fall

If you live in the south, then you understand me when I say that I am tired of the heat. I don't mean, say, 75 degrees and too hot for fall weather. I mean, it's still 90 degrees around here and almost October! Ok, now that I got that rant off my chest, I can talk about this fun outfit.

It decided to be in the 70's for just a few hours on Sunday, so I broke out some long sleeves and thoroughly enjoyed it! You may be seeing a lot of green this fall as well because I can't get enough of this color right now. This shirt is so comfortable and less then $20 - such a steal!

I got this bag on My Habit (visit this link to sign up for it). This exact bag is no longer available, but here you can find another bag that I just got from My Habit, and it is gorgeous and so functional!

Last thing, these glasses from Firmoo are my favorite. I always get compliments on them when I wear them, and they are so affordable (I payed less than $30 for these glasses)

Thank you so much for reading!
