Favorite Summer Accessories

Happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to share some of my favorite accessories for summer. Some of these items I have shared several times (the Ray-Bans!), but they are just so great for summer that I couldn't help but share them again. As I'm spending the week at the beach, I'm getting so much use of my sunglasses and hats, so of course I wanted to include some great options for that for those of you taking beach vacations this summer! I also have both of these bags on my wish list currently, and they are both incredibly affordable under $50! I am especially loving the color of the Nordstrom tote.

Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale

Nordstrom is currently holding their Half Yearly Sale, and I am so excited about some of the deals going on! I've linked up some of my favorite items from Nordstrom currently, and I can't wait to get my hands on these items. These Kendra Scott earrings have been on my wish list for a very long time, right along with these Jack Rogers sandals. Sorry for the late post again this week! It's been a busy weekend of graduations and weddings! I got to watch my oldest sister graduate as a medical doctor, and two of my good friends in my PT class got married! It was a great weekend of celebrating.

He is finally finishing school today for the summer, and I am so excited that he'll have at least a little bit of time off at the same time as me. I'm going to go ahead and apologize for the lesser quality photos today. We were in such a hurry to get these taken, and unfortunately I didn't get a chance to proof them before we had to go! Happy Friday everyone!! I wore this outfit for running around town with Chris yesterday. I've been enjoying my time off from school so much, especially taking advantage of getting a little more dressed up. But, can we just talk about these pants for a second!? The second I saw them on Instagram I knew that I had to have them, and I cannot get enough of them. They are so comfortable, and I just love the colors. These sandals are my new staple sandal right now. I find my self throwing them on multiple time per week, and they are so comfortable. I also found this bag in T.J. Maxx last week, and I'm absolutely loving it so far! Because I am still a student, it's hard to find a bag of good quality at a price that I can afford, but this Steve Madden bag is so great, and I highly recommend any Steve Madden bag for those of you looking for a great bag at a great price.

Mother's Day Picks

Our moms can be the hardest people to shop for, because how do you get a gift that is perfect enough to thank our moms for all they do? They love us everyday no matter how life goes, and for that I can never thank my mom enough. Today I compiled a short list of some items that would be perfect for almost any mom out there. Comfortable shoes of course, because most moms are busy being so awesome, some gorgeous sunnies, a beautiful Kate Spade necklace and ring dish, and of course, a Lilly Pulitzer bag for the beach, because we all know that moms always have everything in their bag at the beach.

Today I just wanted to take a moment and catch you up to speed on my weekend and how life is going! I had the best time visiting friends from undergrad in Fayetteville this weekend. I also had the opportunity to find my name on the senior walk, and it certainly feels good to have my name etched in the sidewalk there. Yesterday afternoon I got to attend a friend's wedding shower. May is just a crazy time when you're in your twenties, because there is always a wedding or a wedding shower to go to, and I love celebrating with every single sweet girl!

I'm not sure how many of you have given this a shot, but one of my new favorite places to shop is the girl's department in Target. I discovered that a girl's size XL is basically the same as a women's small when it comes to most of the Target clothing, and let's be real, sometimes the girl's just have much cuter stuff! I was so excited when I snagged this peplum lemon shirt for only $10 because I just couldn't get over the fun design! The overalls are also a girl's size (yes, I went a little overboard in this section!), but with the fun design on them, I just couldn't pass them up.
